Dylan is a 17-year-old boy with a bad reputation including being to juvie, associating with a gang, and involvement with drugs and alcohol. He and his friend Wade are trying to come clean, but a huge mistake and a nearby execution forces them to leave for Texas. This is really hard on Dylan, because it means leaving behind the love of his life, Jess, a rich pretty girl with an incredible voice. But she's better off without him... or so he thinks.

I literally stayed up for two hours to read the end of this book. It's so exciting! Once you start, the pages... just keep turning. There are so many plot twists that it makes you wonder what the ending will be. You grow so attached to these characters, even the animals, because they are conveyed with such personality. All in all, you will love this book. Trust me!
